#121 IMAX Cinema

The view we're all familiar with when we're jet-packing or double-jumping over Waterloo Station in the early evening.

What? This counts! This totally counts as a cool event or place in London. Grasping at straws? You wait and see what we’ve got planned for the second half of the list. It’ll make this one look like karaoke with the Queen. Anyway, you may think you ‘get’ 3D and big-screen movie presentation in our jaded future world, but a trip to this proper IMAX is a genuine eye-opener. The skyscraper-sized screen is honestly awe-inspiring, and it’s worth trying to see something filmed in the full IMAX format here too, as well as just blockbusters. The reason being: these films fill the ‘black bars’ above and below the normal film strip, so your vision is entirely taken up by the display. It’s amazing what a difference it makes. You may find yourself flinching.
