#129 Black and Blue

Look at this cow's face. Now imagine its feelings. Exactly.

You’ll know this Borough Market restaurant by the cow that perches on top of it. There’s another one inside, too, overlooking the city folk who come here to feed. Nicely straddling the line between full-on restaurant and upscale burger joint, Black and Blue specialises in meat, and lots of it. It’s perhaps a tad too humourless, cows notwithstanding – but the burgers really are a cut above the average, with generous extras and (which is more important) buns that aren’t mouth-shreddingly dry and hard. N0-nonsense chips, too. Now to end the review with some kind of cow pun. Too late!*

*’Moo late!’ Fuck off.
